Home again after a fantastic trip to Harrisburg. Beside hundreds of horses at the auction, we also visited several farms and got to meet international stallions like Six Pack, Muscle Hill, Tactical Landing, Greenshoe, Bar Hoping, Captain Corey and International Moni (photos at the buttomn of this story). Especially International Moni made s really good impression.

Together with Thomas Lind-Holm we bought the 12-yo broodmare Crysti Dream (Infinitif) in foal by Muscle Hill with and including the studfee!

Crysti Dream has four swedish foals, including Hennessy Am (stallion by Muscle Hill)(1.10,5a-1,6 mill. SEK). On of her foals is dead and on this years Yearlingauktionen i år Crysta Dreams 1-yo stallion Longfellow (Greenshoe) was sold to Marcus Melander (Courant) for 3,1 mill. SEK!

An extremely interesting broodmare with bloodlines that goes with most of the stallions and with Infinitif we also get some french blood.

We have decided to let Crysta Dream stay in the USA, where she will be standing at Concord – only a few miles from our agent, Thomas Svensen, who will check in on her on a regulary basis). Thomas will also try to book her to Chapter Seven next year, where Crysta Dream is due for march.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Saturday Golden C N – co-owned with Thomas Lind-Holm – was racing at Bjerke Racetrack in Oslo in “Axel Jensens Minneløp for Fillies” with the norwegian driver Asbjørn Tengsareid in the bike.

Golden C N was fifth on the inside most of the race, while I D Exceptional was in front (1.12,0/500 meter and 1.13,7/1000 meter),

With 700 meters left Golden C N had the chance to get out and down the stretch she made her attack, but unfortunately she made a break when the driver tried to shift lanes and Golden C N was disqualified.

Next race for our “Hoppe Derby”-winner Golden C N – co-owner Thomas Lind-Holm – will be this saturday in Norway at Bjerke Racetrack in “Axel Jensens Minneløp” for 4-yo fillies.

Golden C N had quite a tough race in Grand Circle 4-års Hoppechampionat last friday in Skive, where she had to trot the last 1500 meter outside of the leader, but she’s still in good shape and we hope for a nice performance.

Axel Jensens Minneløp is 2100 meter with a first prize of 150.000 NOK.

Friday afternoon the last “stake” for the 4-yo fillies, Grand Circle 4-års Hoppechampionat (2060 meter), will be raced at Skive Trav, where Golden C N – co-owned Thomas Lind-Holm – is one of the favourites. Actually the expert in the program has placed her as the winner!

The last couple of starts Golden C N has been quite unlucky with the startingpositions, but this time we’re a little more positive and she’s always a good chance in the 4-yo races.

First prize is 200.000 DKK.

Targaryan (who is swedish) is racing against some of the best 3-yo fillies in Denmark. Same distance, but only 20.000 DKK for the winner.

Finally one of our 2-yo trotters, Nouchka di Quattro (SE)(trained by Morten Friis in Skive) is taken out in a “routinerace” with Flemming Jensen – the trainer of Golden C N and Targaryan – in the bike.

Next tuesday, October 18 B G Pastor Jonte will be racing at Axevalla (2140 meter) with a first prize of  40.000 SEK and Flemming Jensen is back in the bike.

He made a strong performance last time – also at Axevalla – where his finished second in 1.11,8a/1640 meter.
