Cynicals first foal

Last friday, April 12th, Cynical (US)(Chapter Seven) gave birth to her first foal – a beautiful colt by Maharajah named Nico Wynn (DK).

In 2021 Cynical (Chapter Seven) was sold in Lexington for $ 165.000, but unfortunately she only had two starts and a total earning of $330.

Cynicals mother is Hyperbole (Father Patrick) and her second dam is She’s Gone Again (SJ’s Caviar), a half sister to Poof She’s Gone (Kadabra), 1.10.3a-$ 1,3 mill.

Apart from Hyberbole, She’s Gone Again is the dam of Enterprise (Chapter Seven), 1.09,6-$ 389.282, who was sold to Sweden, but now is back in the U.S. as a stallion.

Ivy Crown sold to France

One of the two broodmares at Selectedsales.com – Ivy Crown – was sold to France to Ecurie Darby Stables for € 150.000 (1.118.000 DKK).

Ivy Crown (Love You) – in foal by Ready Cash – have had a single offspring at Wynn Farm, 1-yo Neo Wynn (FR)(colt by Ready Cash).

The bidding on the other four horses at the auction – Isolde Face (broodmare), French Omelette (racehorse), Nouchka di Quattro (racehorse) and Targaryan (racehorse) – wasn’t accetable so they were not sold.

That’s why we’re selling

As allready mentioned we’re selling five horses – two broodmares and three racehorses – at tomorrows internetauction at Selectedsales.com: CLICK HERE

Our three racehorses have been bought with breeding in mind, but at the moment we don’t have enough space at the farm for more broodmares – and to “cut down” on the broodmares to make space for the racehorses, doesn’t make any sence for a couple of reasons: The market is quite difficult and it’s impossible to deside which broodmares to let go.

Normally you would sell the theoretically poorest breedingmaterial, but we’ve chosen to sell all our three racehorses and two broodmares, which theoretically must be very interesting.

The studfee has allready been paid for two of the hottest stallions right now – Ready Cash and Tactical Landing. Both broodmares (with first class bloodlines) are french and therefore their foals can be registrered in France.

The racehorses are looking into an exiting season. Both 4-yo fillies (French Omelette and Nouchka di Quattro) – also with first class bloodlines and great capacity – are almost ready for comeback after wintertraining. Hopefully 2024 will be another great season.

Targaryan – trainer in France by Tomas Malmqvist – is also a very interesting 5-yo filly. She hahs made a break in several of her last starts, but it has not been registered in her raceline, so with a flawless race she has normally been among the best.

Maybe she french starting system will be perfect for Tagaryan. We’ve seen her winning at Åby in 1.13,9/2660 meter (world record) on a cold octorber night, so theoretically there’s a lot of money waiting for her in France or in V75 in Sweden. Varenne on Ambro Voice should also be interesting for most breeders.

Younger brother to Mateo Wynn

Late thursday evening Groupie Doll U.S. (US) had a tall, wellbuild colt by Readly Express.

We’ve allready chosen a name – Rocky Wynn – who’s a halfbrother to 2-yo Mateo Wynn, Groupie Doll U.S.’s first offspring at Wynn Farm and trained by Magdalena Ulriksson Siminski at Eskilstuna.

Newxt partner for Groupie Doll U.S. will be Gimpanzee.

First foal in 2024!

Thursday we could welcome the first foal this year – a beautiful colt by Face Time Bourbon and Explosive T (Muscle Hill).

Kayce Wynn (CLICK HERE) is Explosive T’s first foal.

Explosive T represents a family of world class trotters such as DREAM VACATION ($616k), STRUCK BY LINDY ($514k), EVIDENT BEAUTY ($805k) and Hambletonian winner VICTORY DREAM.

Next stallion for Explosive T will be Readly Express.

Nouchka di Quattro in wintertraining

Mattias Djuse is repporting “everything’s fine” with 4-yo Nouchka di Quattro.

She’s doing wintertraining with a pressurewagon and we’re looking forward to the spring and her first start.

Nouchka di Quattro made her debut as a 3-yo, where she won three races and 254.988 SEK in 14 starts.

Choice of stallion for Jolie Journy and Seven Cupids

Jolie Journey

The the last “pieces” regarding our choices of stallion for our broodmares in 2024 has now fallen place!

Jolie Journey goes to Justice – a very interesting Chapter Seven-son standing at Broline (Sweden); a very fast US-stallion with an extremely strong french bloodline: 72/28 US/FR og 2,36 i indavl.

We’re using In Range for Seven Cupids. 100 % US with a relatively høj inbreed-percentage of 12,5 %, but with Windsongs Legacy 3×3 it can be extremely interesting.

In Range a very interesting new Bar Hopping-son. I saw him in the US last year and desided that I’d like to try him.

Jolie Journey and Seven Cupids complete the plan – let’s hope for the best of luck the rest of the season!

 

French Omelette second at Gävle

Fredag afternoon 4-yo French Omelette was racing at Gävle, where she finished second in 1.16,6a/2140 meter with Magnus A. Djuse in the bike.

From number 9 behind the gate, she had a fine start og soon she was fouth on the outside. First 500 meter in 1.12,6 and 1.000 meter in 1.16,6.

With 650 meters left French Omelette made her attack, but eventhough she made quite a good finish, she was only second behind the winner, Charleston in 16,5.
