Targaryan and B G Pastor Jonte to Solvalla

Next tuesday, July 5th, both Targaryan and B G Pastor Jonte are racing at Solvalla, but since Flemming Jensen have desided to stay at home, he has found other drivers for our horses.

Björn Goop – one of the best drivers in Sweden and the world – is driving Targaryan in a 3-yo race for fillies. 2140 meter with 125.000 SEK in first prize.

B G Pastor Jonte‘s driver, Jennifer Persson, is a little less famous. She’s a B-trainer at Solvalla with 23 horses in the stable, but also a good driver. Last year she had her best season so far with 19 wins and 1,3 mill. SEK. This year Jennifer Person has won six races and 433.000 SEK.

Let’s hope for her 7th win tuesday night!

B G Pastor Jonte’s race is an elimination for “Dam-SM” (Swedish Championship for female drivers). 2140 meter with 40.000 SEK in first prize.

The final will be at Solänget on July 23rd with a first prize of 150.000 SEK.

Pink Drink in foal by Gimpanzee!

Our 2-yo Father Patrick-mare Pink Drink (US) is now in foal by Gimpanzee – it’s that kind of news, that makes us quite euphoric!

Pink Drink is the first foal from Im All Pink (Explosive Matter), a daughter of Margie Seelster and full sister to the Hambletonian-winner Pinkman (1.08,0a-$ 2.856.831).

Gimpanzee (Chapter Seven) won several stakes as a 2-, 3- and 4-yo. He won 25 races and $ 2,701,075 in 34 starts.

In 2021 he stood his first year at Diamond Creek Farms and received 72 mares. This year Gimpanzee is still a Diamond Creek $ 20.000.

Pink Drink is also standing Diamond Creek Farms, men but later will come to Denmark.

Solvalla next for B G Pastor Jonte and Targaryan

B G Pastor Jonte (photo) started tuesday night at Jagersro, where he finished 7th (1.500 SEK) in 1.13,3a/2140 meter.

11 behind the gate was close to impossible and Flemming Jensen was never pushing him, so the horse was pretty “fresh” after the race.

Now it’s Solvalla next for both B G Pastor Jonte and Targaryan on July 7th:

Targaryan in a Breeders Course Bonusrace for fillies under 30.000 SEK (she has earned 20.688). 2140 meter meter and 125.000 SEK to the winner.

B G Pastor Jonte in a elimination-heat for “Dam SM” (Swedish championship for female drivers) with final at Soläget and a firstprize of 150.000 SEK, so it COULD be a great day – or a long and less nice dag, but we’re optimists as always!

 

Our 2-yo positive in training

We have two 2-year old horses with the danish trainer Ole G. Nielsen in Skive – French Omelette (se)(Nuncio) and Nouchka di Quattro (se)(Maharajah) – and currently they’re jogging 1.35/2000 meter very easily, but we’re not pushing them.

Our philosophy for starting a horse as a 2-yo, is not to loose value on a longer basis by starting – but on the other hand, not to loose value by starting.

No matter why, the horse will not be jogging faster than 1.30-35 for another couple of weeks; then we’ll deside whether the plan should be to take them to a qualifier and start racing this year – or to wait until next year.

We have had a third 2-yo with Ole G. Nielsen, Surpreme (se), but have desided to take her out of training and she has been bred to Father Patrick.

U Take The Cake has arrived to Sweden

U Take The Cake has arrived to Silvåkra Gård in Sweden from USA.

She’s in foal by Calgary Games and we’re looking forward to her career as a broodmare. The tour went without any problems and she’s looking really good.

Strong debut of Targaryan

Our swedish 3-yo filly Targaryan made a strong effort in her first start for Flemming Jensen sunday afternoon at Racing Arena Aalborg.

She took the lead from the start and was set under pressure the first 500 meter in 1.19,2, but she was able to “throw back” the attack in 1.20/1000 meter.

Over the last round Targaryan was challenged several times, but she was the strongest og won quite easily in 1.18.0/2140 meter.

B G Pastor Jonte should have started in Tingsryd (Sweden), but was caughing and had to stay at tome.

Ivy Crown in foal by Ready Cash!

Today we received a wonderful photo of one of our three french broodmares, Ivy Crown (Love You), who now is in foal by Ready Cash!

Ivy Crown is standing at Haras de Cornville in Normandy.

We are extremely grateful and filled with happiness. There’s still a long to go, but so far so good …

Two horses on two tracks

Both our racehorses, B G Pastor Jonte og Targaryan, will race this sunday, June 5th in Axevalla (Sweden) respectively Racing Arena Aalborg.

B G Pastor Jonte is starting in “Hertiginnan av Västergötland Kronprinsessan Victorias lopp” (2140 meter) with the swedish driver Iina Aho. He won his last race at Halmstad in 1.13,2a/1640 meter and should be a good chance. 150.000 SEK for the winner.

In Aalborg there’s a little less (15.000 DKK) when Targaryan makes his debut in a 3-yo race after his qualifier in april (1.19,3/2140 meter). Same distance on sunday and Flemming Jensen jumps in the bike.
