Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 25, at Jägersro, LEVI WYNN (SE) (Archive photo: Martin Timm Holmstav) will attempt to qualify for the 2026 Swedish Trotting Derby!

Levi Wynn—owned by Carsten Sørensen—impressed in his debut for Joakim Lövgren, winning easily in 1:13.0a/2,140 meters.

However, he faces a tough challenge in one of the most difficult Derby qualifiers, coming up against top horses such as Wise Guy, Gap Kronos, and Eol—all of whom have earned over SEK 2.3 million.

The top two finishers in the Derby qualifiers earn a spot in the Derby itself.

Jamie Wynn in nice performance – Bad luck for Anna Wynn

On Monday, 2-yo JAMIE WYNN (SE) (colt by Nuncio-Jolie Journey) competed in a qualifier at Färjestad with his owner and trainer, Paw Mahony, in the bike; despite breaking stride during the race, he put in a fine performance im 1:29.1/2,160 meters.

ANNA WYNN (DK) competed at Halmstad with Christoffer Eriksson in the bike. She started well and took the lead coming out of the first turn.

She trotted the first 500 meters in 1:17.3, and the kilometer in 1:18.5.

Rounding the final turn, Anna Wynn came under pressure from the eventual winner, and as they entered the home stretch, she broke into a gallop. However, she regained her stride and finished seventh (earning 3,000 SEK) in 1:18.2/2,140 meters.

Naomi Wynn qualifies in Charlottenlund

Today (Sunday) 2-year-old NAOMI WYNN (DK) (filly by Readly Express-Spritited Chic) was in a qualifier at Charlottenlund Racetrack, where she made a very nice performance qualifying in 1.20.8/2040 meters with her trainer, Henrik Thomsen in the bike.

Diabolic Hill second at Pocono Downs

3-yo DIABOLIC HILL (US) (file photo)—bred by us in partnership with Thomas Lind-Holm of Stutteri Dust—finished second in the Earl Beal, Jr. Memorial for 3-year-olds at Pocono Downs in Pennsylvania on Saturday evening.

Following the disappointment of the Hambletonian qualifier three weeks ago, where Diabolic Hill finished eighth, he was made the favorite; starting from post position 6, Todd McCarthy drove him to the lead coming out of the first turn.

However, after approximately 550 meters, Diabolic Hill had to yield the lead to the eventual winner, Inexpressable.

Entering the home stretch, Todd McCarthy found a gap to attack along the inside rail as Inexpressable drifted slightly outward, but Diabolic Hill could not get past; both horses clocked a time of 1:09.1a/1609 meters.

The second-place prize was $75,000, bringing Diabolic Hill’s total career earnings to $724,417.

Video-day at the farm

On Saturday, we were visited by our Swedish partners, Lina Alm and Thomas Moberg, who have produced videos of our three horses for the Swedish Derby Sale.

WALKER WYNN (SE) starred in the outstandingly best video ever made of the 27 horses we have bred—it is something to look forward to!

In addition to Walker Wynn (colt by Face Time Bourbon – Champagne Coktail), JACKSON WYNN (SE) (colt by Face Time Bourbon – Noblesse Tile) and WENDY WYNN (SE) (filly by Maharajah – Princess Corner) are also included in the Derby Auction, which takes place on Friday, September 4.

Gloria Wynn in nice performance

Thursday evening at Åby 2-yo GLORIA WYNN (SE) made a nice performance in at testrace (“Prämielopp”) with Julian Cordeau in the bike, where she finished in 1.27,2/2160 meter.

Next Monday, August 24th at Färjestad another 2-yo, JAMIE WYNN (SE) will also go out in a testrace with his owner and trainer, Paw Mahony.

Gloria Wynn and Jamie Wynn in testrace

Within the next week, two of our 2-year-olds are set to compete in testraces (“Præmielopp”) in Sweden. On Thursday, GLORIA WYNN (SE) (top photo) will race at Åby with Julian Cordeau in the bike, and on Monday, it is JAMIE WYNN’s (SE) turn at Färjestad with Paw Mahony.

Gloria Wynn (filly by Father Patrick-Princess Corner)—trained by Sophia Olsson Jacobsen at Åby—is Princess Corner’s second-oldest offspring. She is also the dam of 3-yo Henry Wynn (SE) (colt by Calgary Games), 1-yo Wendy Wynn (SE) (filly by Maharajah), and the filly foal Paris Wynn (DK) (by Calgary Games).

Jamie Wynn (colt by Nuncio-Jolie Journey) is the dam’s third offspring. Jolie Journey has previously produced 4-yo Ezra Wynn (SE) (colt by Nuncio) and 3-yo Wilson Wynn (SE) (colt by Greenshoe), who are in training with Gennaro Casillo in Italy and Amanda Teresia Hansson at Åby, respectively. This year, she produced the colt foal Parker Wynn (DK) (by Maharajah).

Both Gloria Wynn and Jamie Wynn were sold at last year’s Åby Yearling Sale.

Monday 3-yo ANNA WYNN (DK) is racing at Halmstad with his trainer, Christoffer Eriksson in the bike.

Meera Wynn third in comeback

On Saturday, 3-yo MEERA WYNN (DK) made her comeback at the Montecatini racetrack in Italy following a six-week break, delivering a solid performance to finish third in 1:14.4a/2,040 meters.

Early in the race, she was left racing three-wide for the first 300–400 meters before Vincenzo Luongo managed to maneuver her into the second lane.

From then on, Meera Wynn stayed well in contention right to the finish, finishing close behind the winner, Indiana Bar, who won with a time of 14.1.

This was Meera Wynn’s sixth start of the year, yielding two wins, two second-place and one third-place.

Isaac Wynn second at Aaby

Saturday at Aaby, 4-yo ISAAC WYNN (SE)—trained by Robert Bergh—finishing second with Rikard N. Skoglund in the bike in 1:13.6/2,160 meters.

Starting with a 20-meter handicap, he was held back early on and spent much of the race at the rear of the field, but moved up to the third pair on the outside during the final lap.

Entering the final bend, Isaac Wynn was sent wide into the third path and finished strongly to take second place (25,000 SEK)—narrowly beaten by the second favorite, Magnus Palema, who led from start to finish and closed the final stretch at a 1:09 pace!

At the time of writing, it is unknown whether Isaac Wynn will be aimed at the Derby, but he has earned 298,700 SEK to date. He has recorded three wins from 17 starts.
