Bad luck for Levi Wynn in Derby-qualification

Unfortunately, LEVI WYNN (SE) failed to qualify for the 2026 Swedish Trotting Derby.

In Tuesday’s Derby qualifiers, he finished unplaced in1:14.5a/2640 meters in a very unlucky race.

At the start, Levi Wynn was left racing three-wide—the first 500 meters were run in 1:11.9—and it was not until after approximately 800 meters that Joakim Lövgren managed to move up to the “death seat” (racing uncovered outside the leader). However, shortly thereafter, he shifted to the second pair on the outside.

The first kilometer went in 1:14.8, with the heavy favorite Wise Guy now in the lead.

With 700 meters remaining, Levi Wynn was pulled out to make a move in the third lane but got stuck racing wide and ultimately finished unplaced.

Everything went wrong during the race, and Joakim stopped driving him. There is nothing wrong with the horse, and he will be entered in the V75 Class II race on Derby Day at Jägersro, Sunday, September 6th.
