“Mikkels Horsetransport” had a safe journey in the blizzard and all of the horses arrived very calm and in good shape – thanks for a great cooperation with both PWR and Silvåkra.
With the six “new” horses in Denmark, most of our horses are gathered in Ansager – now we only have Ivy Crown in France and Crysti Dream in the U.S.

Saturday afternoon at Gävle in Sweden Nouchka di Quattro (Trainer: Mattias Djuse – Driver: Magnus A. Djuse) finished 6th in an elimination for “Diamantstoet”.
She had a good start and early in the race Nouchka di Quattro made her attack, taking over the lead with 1400 meters left.
First 1000 meters in 1.16,0.
Apparently Nouchka di Quattro wasn’t 100 % fit today and was beaten into the last turn. She finished as number six (10.000 SEK or 254.988 SEK totally in her first season) in 1.16,2/2140 meter.

On December 28 at BioCirc Arena in Skive Targaryan (Trainer: Flemming Jensen – Driver: René Kjær) made a very strong performance after an “impossible” race, eventhough she only finished 9th.
Targaryan had to trot most of she race in the third track and was tired in the last turn.
This year Targaryan have won four races in 15 starts earning 195.000 DKK. Very soon she’ll go to France, where there are some race for her in february.

Vert soon 2023 will be history
It was the first year for us to sell our own yearlings. The year began with a fantastic atmosphere at the Elit Auction in may, but technical breakdown and cancallation changed everything, and eventhough the organizers in both Denmark and Sweden did everything they could for the rest of the year, to bring back the optimism and good spirit, it became – well, let’s just say challenging, so we’ll just have to forget about it and look forward.
Looking on the bright side, all of our yearlings were sold to great and top professinional trainer: Maria Törnqvist, Preben Sövik, Stall Untersteiner, Sofia Aronsson and Tomas Malmqvist which means that they all will get a chance.
In the first week of 2024 our three broodmares and foals, who are currently standing in Sweden, will arrive at the farm in Ansager. We wish to gather almost all the horses in Denmar (only IVy Crown will remain in France).
In other words: Very soon all of our 10 yearlings – five fillies and five colts – will be together every day, until Easter, where they will be separated in two groups. We’re looking forward to start working with them; all 10 horses are looking great with excellent papers. Our crop of 2023 is after Calgary Games, Face Time Bourbon, Vivid Wise As, Greenshoe, Muscle Hill, Gimpanzee and Chapter Seven.
Our racehorses is still in action during the wintertime. Targaryan is racing on December 28 in Skive, while Nouchka du Quattro will be out in Gävle on December 30.
We wish all of our customers, providers, connections and friend MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Two days ago French Omelette won at Gävle and yesterday it was Nouchka di Quattro‘s turn on Eskilstuna!
Nouchka di Quattro had a perfect start from number 7 behind the gate and took over the lead after 350 meter.
First 500 meter in 1.11,1 and then Magnus A. Djuse managed to “steel” the race in 1.14,7/1000 meter.
Nouchka di Quattro won very easily in 1.14,4a/1640 meter.
With a first prize of 40.000 SEK Nouchka di Quattro has earned 244.988 SEK this year, winning three of her 10 starts.

Wednesday night at Gävle French Omelette had the best “premiere” we could wish for her new trainer, Mattias Djuse!
Starting as number 12 behind the gate, Magnus A. Djuse took a safe start, but after 750 meter French Omelette made her attack and with 900 meters left she challenged the leading horse.
French Omelette took over after 1600 meters and won quite easily in 1.17,5a/2140 meter.
First prize: 25.000 SEK.

Last fridag (December 8th) Targaryan was racing at Spar Nord Arena in Aalborg.
Finally she was flawless behind the gate and Flemming Jensen was very offensive – trying to challenge the leader, Galant Lund.
First 500 meters in 1.11,0!
Targaryan had a short “break” behind the leader, but in the last turn Flemming Jensen made another attack and Targaryan finished third in 1.15,5a/1640 meter after a strong performance.

Yesterday on of our broodmares, Affinity Kronos (Joke Face-Bell Power/Pine Chip) was sold at Selectedsales.com.
Affinity Kronos – in foal by Father Patrick – has been sold to Frankrig for 25.000 Euro.
We wish to gather all of our horses in Ansager, so within the four weeks we’ll take our three broodmares and foals in Sweden to Denmark – therefore we needed som space.
Affinity Kronos have had only one foal at Stutteri Wynn, 1-yo Levi Wynn (colt by International Moni), who was sold to the swedish trainer Tomas Malmqvist at Solvalla Criterium Sale this fall.
