Nouchka di Quattro didn’t make it

Tuesday night at Jägersro Nouchka di Quattro (trainer: Mattias Djuse) tried to qualify for the final in “Derbystoet” – the biggest race for the 4-yo fillies in Sweden with a first prize of 1 million SEK – but unfortunately she didn’t make it.

She was the second-favourite with Mats E. Djuse in the bike. She didn’t get the best start from position 1 behind the gate, but still got a nice race as ssecond on the outside behind the top-favourite Kinglet Bird.

Nouchka du Quattro was looking good, but the got tired in the end a finished 8th (1.500 SEK) in 1.12,9a/2140 meter. Only the best two horses qualified for Derbystoet.

The race was won by Sonesta in 12,4 after taking the lead right from start.
