The most exciting weekend of the year!

It’s going to be a crazy exciting weekend!

On Saturday, NAKISKA (SE) (Trainer: Fredrik Wallin) will start in the 3-yo fillyrace Breeders Course Criteriumday-races 2026 at Solvalla with 250,000 SEK for the winner – again with startingposition 4 and again with Carl Johan Jepson in the bike.

Later in the day, 4-yo ISAAC WYNN (SE) (Trainer: Robert Bergh) will go out in the stayer race, Walter Lundbergs Memorial with 300,000 SEK in first prize. In the sulky Rikard N. Skoglund, who has driven him once before, where he was second in 1.13.6/2140 meters.

Finally, MEERA WYNN (DK) will start as one of the topfavorites in the Danish Filly Criterium (“Dansk Hoppe Kriterium”) in Charlottenlund on Sunday!

Meera Wynn is trained in Italy, but since before the Kriterium-qualification she has been on a property near Halmstad-Travet, where Victor Rosleff has been responsible for the daily training and care. Victor drove Meera Wynn in the qualification and will be back in the bike on Sunday, where there is 408,000 kroner for the winner – provided that the horse is registered for “Præmiechancen”!

In other words: The most exciting weekend of the year!

Meera Wynn seems even better

Meera Wynn impressed in the Kriterium-qualifications for Victor Rosleff, who also believes in a new top chance in the Danish Filly Kriterium (“Dansk Hoppe Kriterium”)

Before the start of the Kriterium-qualification 14 days ago, Meera Wynn had not set her hooves on Danish soil since she was transported to France two years ago and sold at the Selected European Yearling Sale in Deauville.

Since then, she has delivered great performances in her new home country on several occasions and, among other things, won in 1.12.4a/1600 meters, so it came as no surprise that she was able to win her Criterion Trial in superb style.

-Yes, it was really positive. It is not often that you win so easily with a horse, says Victor Rosleff, who has been hired as a driver behind Meera Wynn in her start in Denmark.

-I am good friends with the owner’s son, whom I know from when Casillo Gennaro had a branch in Sweden, where I ran a number of races for them.

-Meera Wynn came to Sweden a week and a half before the Criterion Trials and is at the farm near the Halmstad track, where I have my own horses. That is approx. 10 minutes from the track.

-It was a long journey from Italy, so she was just trained quietly leading up to the tests, and she has subsequently just taken care of her routine training. The most important thing was that she ate and was in a good mood.

-Meera Wynn has met some of the best 3-year-old mares in Italy, so I knew that she was a fine horse, who gave an incredibly good impression in the tests. She won really easily with tight lines over the finish and seems even better now. She seems to have progressed with that race, and if she is fresh on the day, she will make another great performance.

-Meera Wynn can open if you want, but she can go from all positions and we are very optimistic. She will go with the same equipment as in the test.

-The plan is for Meera Wynn to go back to Italy after the Criterion Day. I think she will start in a bigger race down there, but the idea is that she will come back to Denmark next year to start in the vintage races.

Strong performance of Leo Wynn

4-yo LEO WYNN (DK) delivered a strong effort on Saturday at Jydsk Væddeløbsbane in Århus, where he finished 5th after a break.

Leo Wynn was taken calmly from the start, but suddenly made a break after about 500 meters and lost many meters.

Jeppe Juel did not give up, however, and down the stretch, Leo Wynn was pulled behind the field to a strong finish as 5th in 1:15.4a/1800 meters.

Great performances in swedish Kriterium-qualification

Whichever VINCE WYNN (SE) or NAKISA (SE) managed to qualify for the start of the Swedish Trotting Criterium on Sunday Criterium tests at Solvalla – but both horses had a top race!

VINCE WYNN (Trainer & Driver: Andreas Lövdal) got the lead from the start, but lost out on the first turn to the big favorite Catch And Go, who kept a steady 12-pace in the lead.

With about 600 meters, however, Catch And Go suddenly galloped and suddenly it was third on the inside for Vince Wynn, who finished just outside the prize row in a time of 1.13.0a/2640 meters.

He will be back!

NAKISKA (Trainer: Fredrik Wallin – Driver: Carl Johan Jepson) made a fantastic race!

She was the fastest out, but lost out shortly after to the eventual winner, Nightbird, who  trotted the first kilometer in 1.13.2.

Unfortunately, the favorite Nightbird made a break with app. 600 meters left, so the gap came 20 meters too late for Nakiska, who between horses finishes strongly in third place in 1.12.9a/2140 meters – the same time as the first and second horse!

With a little more raacingluck, she would have won 72 times the money and been in the biggest race for 3-year-old.

She started with all four shoes and showed enormous starting speed. We are disappointed with the third place, but look forward to the future with her.

Isaac Wynn 3rd i Swedish Youth-Championship

Robert Bergh-trained ISAAC WNN (SE) finished third in Saturday’s Youth Championship in Åby after a really good finish.

It was a race with changing positions along the way. Isaac Wynn eventually ended up in fifth pair on the inside, but on the back long side Malte Handfast was given the opportunity to attack, and on a nice finish in the tracks the pair reached third place in a time of 1.13.6a/2140 meters.

Third place gave 40,000 SEK and thus Isaac Wynn has earned 380,000 SEK, of which 144,000 SEK this year.

Meera Wynn magnificant in Kriterium-qualification!

MEERA WYNN (DK) made a magnificant performance in the qualification for “Dansk Hoppe Kriterium” (Danish Filly Criterium) in Charlottenlund wednesday night.

She got a nice start as first on the outside, but after about 700 meters was replaced by the second pair on the outside, and Victor Rosleff was able to wait until the finish to launch his attack, after which Meera Wynn just flew forward to a superb victory in 1.14,5a/2000 meter.

Now we look forward to the final of the Danish Jumping Criterium on Sunday, October 11th at Lunden, where Meera Wynn got starting position 3.
