Great performances in swedish Kriterium-qualification
Whichever VINCE WYNN (SE) or NAKISA (SE) managed to qualify for the start of the Swedish Trotting Criterium on Sunday Criterium tests at Solvalla – but both horses had a top race!
VINCE WYNN (Trainer & Driver: Andreas Lövdal) got the lead from the start, but lost out on the first turn to the big favorite Catch And Go, who kept a steady 12-pace in the lead.
With about 600 meters, however, Catch And Go suddenly galloped and suddenly it was third on the inside for Vince Wynn, who finished just outside the prize row in a time of 1.13.0a/2640 meters.
He will be back!

NAKISKA (Trainer: Fredrik Wallin – Driver: Carl Johan Jepson) made a fantastic race!
She was the fastest out, but lost out shortly after to the eventual winner, Nightbird, who trotted the first kilometer in 1.13.2.
Unfortunately, the favorite Nightbird made a break with app. 600 meters left, so the gap came 20 meters too late for Nakiska, who between horses finishes strongly in third place in 1.12.9a/2140 meters – the same time as the first and second horse!
With a little more raacingluck, she would have won 72 times the money and been in the biggest race for 3-year-old.
She started with all four shoes and showed enormous starting speed. We are disappointed with the third place, but look forward to the future with her.
