Yesterday AWESOME ANNIE (DK) in foal by Calgary Games was sold at an internetauction on Travauktioner.dk for 82.000 DKK.
At the same auction SEVEN CUPIDS (US) – also in foal by Calgary Games – was not sold.

LEO WYNN (DK) had a bad day saturday night in Aalborg in Aalborg Store Pris, when he made a break shortly before start and was disqualified.

2-yo NAOMI WYNN (DK) (Trainer: Henrik Thomsen – Driver: Birger Jørgensen) got the best possible start to her career when she won the 2026 Auction Race for Fillies at Racing Arena Aalborg today.
From starting lane 10, Naomi Wynn was taken easy from the start, but on the last lap she came up to the second pair outside, which later became the third pair outside.
Around the last bend she came in a nice finish in the tracks and was able to go on to a sure victory in 1.18.8a/2140 meters.
There was 60,000 DKK in first prize for Naomi Wynn’s owner, Stald Falster (H Thomsen).
Naomi Wynn was strong and with a real Readly Express race head; had almost forgotten, she is a “full” sister to Pelé Boko, who won the Svensk Uppfödningslopning (exactly the same blood). This suggests that it works early that cross.

ISAAC WYNN (SE) (Trainer: Robert Bergh – Driver: Ole Johan Østre) got a deserved revenge tonight at Åby after the start in the Breeders Course recently.
He took the lead shortly after the start and then won overwhelmingly in 1:13.8a/2640 meters after a steady 13-14 pace all the way.
First prize: 40,000 SEK.

Due to the new Swedish rules regarding “Swedish born”, we are forced to either stop completely or drastically cut back on our breeding business.
I assume that ST and ASVT want us to no longer register our offspring as Swedish in the future, and we have understood that signal and are taking the consequences accordingly. We will not register any more offspring in Sweden, so congratulations ST and ASVT, the new rules work!
I personally have no faith that protectionism should be the way forward for Swedish trotting sport. After 40 years in a tough transport industry, where I experienced the decision about the “internal market”, which partly opened up for increased competition, BUT also gave everyone the same opportunities, I simply do not understand these new rules. The fact that even experienced Swedish breeders of Swedish horses, in Swedish straw, call the rules the stupidest thing they have ever experienced, says it all. Ridiculous arguments that it is cheaper for us in Denmark, or that there is better weather in France – yes, that says a lot about the basis for the decision.
The possibility of registering Swedish in Denmark exists, but as a “foreign breeder” it is already difficult enough at Swedish auctions, if we then come up with “second-rate” Swedish-registered horses in the future – yes, then it is logical that the price for our products will go down (of course, what ASVT members also see as their chance for better prices). Add to that lower breeder premiums, so the decision is not difficult.
We love trotting, we love breeding trotting horses, we love following them with various trainers, but the conditions are changing so much in an already difficult market that this cannot continue. We will miss the Swedish auctions, not because our offspring have been paid with super prices, but the unity that exists among the breeders who sell, it has been fantastic, even though we are Danish – everyone helps everyone, we will miss that.
We hope to be able to continue with a very limited number, all of which will be Danish registered, but we must consider the financial aspects of that as well.
We have six foals from this year, only two are Swedish, and these will be the last Swedish ones from our farm in Denmark.
I sincerely hope that I am wrong, and God forbid, but I am afraid that these absurd new rules will accelerate a negative spiral in Swedish trotting sport.

AWESOME ANNIE (DK) (CLICK on name for detailed info), winner of, among others, Dansk Hoppe Kriterium and full sister to Eenymeenyminymoe (1,10.8a-1,555,000 DKK/winner of, among others, Dansk Hoppe Derby and 21 wins).
First offspring with us, LEO WYNN (DK), who after galloping in his debut won his second start at 1.13.5a/1600 meters in Italy. Unlucky in Derby qualifications, but juicy catches after galloping in both the Jutland 4-year-olds Grand Prix as well as the Derby Consolation. Starts Saturday in the Aalborg Store Prix.
Also dam of 1-yo OBAMA WYNN (DK), who has been sold to Untersteiner, who has convinced himself and me that he will win the Danish Trotting Derby 2029 – so already high expectations!
Calgary Games produces many noble offspring – I think he fits perfectly here.

SEVEN CUPIDS (US) (CLICK on name for detailed info), Chapter Seven on the Kenwood Scamper line is not often seen in Europe.
In foal by Calgary Games gives 90/10 US/FR. Her first offspring, OLIVIA WYNN (DK) sold for 30,000 Euro at the Copenhagen Yearling sale.

On Saturday, LEO WYNN (DK) (Trainer & Driver: Jeppe Juel) will start in the “Aalborg Store Pris” and finally, on Wednesday next week – September 23 – MEERA WYNN (DK) (Trainer: Gennaro Casillo – Driver: Victor Rosleff) is racing in the Kriterium-qualifications in Charlottenlund.
For Meera Wynn, this is her first start outside of Italy.

Within the last 24 hours we’ve sold two of our broodmares: First JOLIE JOURNEY (FR) (in foal by Father Patrick) and then CASUAL RAIN (SE) (in foal by Readly Express).
Casual Rain
3-yo VINCE WYNN (SE) delivered a really nice performance in Friday’s Breeders Crown race at Solvalla, where he finished fourth (21,000 SEK) in a new record 1.12.4a/2140 meters.
After a short duel for the lead with the eventual winner Com Best, Vince Wynn – with his trainer Andreas Lövdal in the bike – was backed down on the back of the latter and stayed there for the rest of the race.
He was not “empty” crossing the finishline, but had to settle for fourth place behind Com Best, who won in 12.3.
Fourth place qualified them for the Breeders Crown semi-finals.
Andreas said after the race that they were really pushing themselves, but he surprised them by finishing with a lot of energy. Now they are aiming for the Kriterium-qualification on September 27th at Solvalla.
