Diabolic Hill wins Breeders Crown-final!

Saturday night local time 3-year-old DIABOLIC HILL (US) – co-bred with Thomas Lind-Holm, Stutteri Dust – won the final of the Breeders Crown for 3-year-old stallions at Scioto Downs in Ohio!

Diabolic Hill was good from the start and took the lead out of the first turn, but soon had to give way to the big favorite Big Ranger, who completed the first 800 meters after 1:09.1.

In the run-up, Todd McCarthy pulled Diabolic Hill out to attack, and on a fine finish he won very easily in 1:08.8a/1609 meters ahead of Nic Nacken and Big Ranger – both in 1:09.0.

Diabolic Hill – trained by Annie Stoebe and owned by Mario T. Mazza, Annie Stoebe & AC Crawford Racing Stable – received $332,500 (2.2 million kroner) for the win!

It was the third win of the year for Diabolic Hill, who has earned $574,000 this year alone and a total of $1,081,167.

Diabolic Hill’s dam, CRYSTI DREAM (US), is also the dam of, among others, Nassir Dust, who is a big favorite in “Dansk Opdrætningsløb”.

Crysti Dream is currently being offered for sale on Selectedsales.com and the auction ends tonight at 8:19 p.m.!
